We have some code and we loop it with a select box. We want to bind a .mouseover and .mouseout event. If we have set this for page ready there is no problem but when we try to bind after page load we can not bind this event. Here is the simple solution.

Say we have the elements with the class name myboxes following code will bind the event successfully.

  • $(document) is our root object for the document
  • .on binds the events ‘mouseover mouseout’
  • ‘.myboxes’ is the class of the elements we want to bind
  • function(){} is the function when the event occurs on specified class element
